The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and it is the only one still standing today. It was ordered to be built by King Khufu in about 2550 B.C. It is not certain how it was built but, it is believed that the ancient Egyptians build ramps along it's sides. |

In around the year of 2600 B.C., papyrus began to be cultivated by the ancient Egyptians. A type of paper was made from it called papyrus paper. They were invented by taking the interior of the plant. After cutting it into strips, they were laid side by side and hammered together. |
